The Boscombe Valley Mystery sees Sherlock Holmes fight for natural justice to prevail when a young man is accused of murder.

The man on trial is James McCarthy, who almost everyone believes killed his own father after the pair were seen arguing in the woods near their home in Boscombe Valley.

Holmes is enlisted to find the real killer by McCarthy’s childhood friend, the beautiful Alice Turner and the frustrated Inspector Lestrade of Scotland Yard.

Sherlock Holmes shows in The Boscombe Valley Mystery that he is never afraid to fight for justice and the right result when he believes the law is an ass.
